As part of a guided tour, visitors can immerse themselves in the »trace« cosmos of the Theodor Fontane Archive.

As a literary archive and cultural place of remembrance, the Theodor Fontane Archive in Villa Quandt is the place in the state of Brandenburg that preserves, explores and explores the most authentic »traces« of Theodor Fontane. In addition to thousands of manuscripts and historical prints, these are paintings, drawings and photos, a large part of the traditional reference library or life documents of all kinds: such as pharmacy products or daily and business books. In addition, the Theodor-Fontane-Archiv has been collecting and cultivating a broad spectrum of reception and transmission »traces« of Fontane: for over eighty years, from the collection of transcriptions to the history of the Fontane estate to reception in the press and science to scholar-legacies from the Fontane research.
